At the crossroads of beauty, harmony, and well-being, I design spaces that go beyond aesthetics—they inspire and elevate your life. My journey into interior design is built on a rich blend of experiences, including 16 years in the superyachting industry. Working both onboard and as an owner’s representative during shipyard construction, I honed my eye for detail and my ability to oversee complex, high-stakes projects that balance luxury and functionality. During this time, I also earned a BA Hons from the National Design Academy, UK with an internship at superyacht design firm Darnet Design.

In 2018, I ventured into the digital world with my interior design blog, Flamingo Cocktail. This allowed me to explore my passion for design while travelling the globe with my husband, moving from yacht to Airbnb. Along the way, I added a digital marketing qualification to my skillset.

My journey isn’t just about luxury design; it’s deeply rooted in well-being and balance. Having experienced my own emotional wellness transformation, I know how much our surroundings shape our state of mind. This drives me to create spaces that aren’t just beautiful but nurturing—places where you feel safe, secure, and truly at home.

Living in many different places around the world has shaped my understanding of what “home” means. Each new environment taught me that home is not just a physical space but a feeling of safety, comfort, and belonging—a sanctuary. This insight drives my commitment to designing spaces that resonate with your personal sense of home, no matter where you are.

Before my yachting career, I worked in hospitality management, where I learned the value of creating inviting, functional spaces that enhance guest experiences. This, combined with my love for holistic living, now forms the foundation of my design approach.

My global travels and cultural explorations inspire my design philosophy: every space should resonate with the unique energy and style of the person who inhabits it.

My work is dedicated to designing environments where you can thrive—spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful. After freelancing in interiors and offering remote e-design services since the Covid pandemic, I recently moved to Brittany in 2024 and felt it was the perfect time to put down roots and officially establish Anna Riorden Interiors.
